The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) offers free tax help to qualified individuals who make $53,000 or less annually, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. The Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program (TCE) provides free tax assistance to qualified taxpayers, especially those 60 years of age and older. Volunteers are trained and certified by the IRS and specialize in questions about pensions and retirement related issues that are unique to senior citizens. Search for a TCE Center near you!
